China Glaze Twinkle Holiday Collection :: Review

Are you ready to sprinkle your nails with some twinkle this holiday season? ‘Tis the season for gathering with friends and loved ones, and dreaming of the future. This holiday season China Glaze introduces Twinkle, a collection of shades that perfectly capture the spirit of the season, sparkles in the night sky created by glowing lights, the softness of fresh snowfall and visions of the new year.

I combined two shades for each swatch below. The first shade is as is, and the second is layered over the first on the tip of the nail only. If there is any time to make your nails twinkle, the holidays are it! I did a simple color tip, but the sky is really the limit for this delightful collection!

This is my favorite combination! The snow effect is so simple!
Tip Your Hat :: Classic red crème
Chillin’ with My Snow-mies :: Multi-sized white snowflake overlay

The green glitter is super sheer. I love the silver chrome for New Year's Eve!
I’d Melt For You :: Icy silver chrome
Pine-ing for Glitter :: Forest green glitter

I will definitely be using Out Like a Light over and over! I love this color.
Out Like a Light :: Dark grey crème
Feeling Twinkly :: Dark blue glitter

The eggplant shimmer is a nice color for going from fall to winter.
No Peeking :: Rich eggplant shimmer
De-Light :: Gold and holographic staple glitter

I found the blue shimmer to be very sheer. It takes multiple coats. I love Meet Me Under the Stars on its own too! What a great party shade.
December to Remember :: Dark blue iridescent shimmer
Meet Me Under the Stars :: Holographic glitter in a black base

Define Good is quite beautiful and is very much a holiday shade.
Define Good :: Sultry cranberry shimmer
Dancing & Prancing :: Multi-color glitter

Make this holiday one to remember with the China Glaze Twinkle collection. The China Glaze Twinkle collection also features seasonally-inspired gift sets that are perfect for gift-giving! There is no better time of the year for nail art than the holidays. Look for the gift sets and the nail kits in stores. Creating festive designs a cinch!
