Crabtree & Evelyn :: Nud-est Nail Collection :: Review

Subtle yet sensational. Bare yet bold. Meet Crabtree & Evelyn's four newest shades of nail lacquer. The Nud-est Collection is a universally flattering range of barely there to buff shades that apply beautifully, and dry quickly.

I reviewed two shades. Almond Nail Lacquer (left) and Peaches & Cream Nail Lacquer (right). Classic but never boring, the pale beige Almond Nail Lacquer is the definition of neutral at its finest, and the most opaque nude of all the neutrals. If you want that blend right in neutral, this is it. Add a little sweetness with the delectable shade of Peaches & Cream. A dreamy wash of peachy pink with a light opalescent shimmer that’s just bursting with warmth and light. This one would look great with a french manicure too.

There are two more shades in the collection as well. Almond Nail Lacquer (far left) is perfect for a subtle hint of color. It is the lightest of the collection but not lacking in lustrous impact. Also available is the Mocha Nail Lacquer (far right). Mocha can make a bold statement in a shade barely there.

This is a great collection for those neutral girls. The polish goes on easily and has real staying power. I love that they are formulated without camphor, dibutyl phthalates, formaldehyde or toluene, leaving you with a rich, eye-catching colour that lasts!
