Earlier this week my husband and I had our niece and nephew over for a sleepover. We wanted to plan something really fun to do to add some sparkle to their summer! So we had this whole fun day planned out. However, the problem was the it downpour the previous day which ruined some of our plans. Several new plans later we decided to just take them to the park and go from there. So off to the park we went. They headed right for the playground when we got there. Down the slide they went and .... splash! It ended up pretty much being a waterslide. We didn't quite see that giant puddle of water sitting on the bottom of the slide.

Here is proof. Check out the ringing out of the shirts. It was so unexpected we just had to laugh! We decided that it was indeed a "waterslide" and we just made the best of it! They slid down a few more times. Then we added some sparkle before we left the park.

My niece decided that swinging as high as she could would dry off her clothes! Not to mention the side effect of having fun! Then we found some puppets and they put on a puppet show. What they were saying was hilarious. They made the animals talk about how wet they were. It was quite the show! And that ... is how we added some sparkle to our day! #sparklingtruth
