Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. chopped dates
- 1 stick butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups rice krispies
- 1/2 cup nuts (I like chopped pecans)
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
In a saucepan, stir and cook until blended and bubbly (5-10 min):
- 1/2 lb. chopped dates
- 1 stick butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
Remove from heat and add:
- 2 cups rice krispies
- 1/2 cup nuts (I like chopped pecans)
Allow to cool until mixture is more solid and slightly warm.
Roll into 1" balls and coat in coconut flakes.
No baking required!
