Review :: FlipFlop Wines :: Moscato

I am *loving* the Moscato from FlipFlop Wines! It is like candy in a bottle. I am definitely a girl with a sweet tooth. So when I was told that this was light-bodied with floral aromas, semi-sweet palate, and a soft, lingering finish - I had a feeling I would love it! I do! It is so good. Vinter David Georges recommends it with a Spicy Thai Dish or a Strawberry Chocolate Dessert. I would just recommend that you try it!

FlipFlop Moscato is so good that it earned Double Gold at the 2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the largest, most influential international wine competition in America. In addition, none other than Wine Enthusiast Magazine gave Flip Flop Moscato a “Best Buy” in the June issue of the magazine.

And what a Best Buy it is at only $7.00 a bottle! Wow - what a deal for such an amazing wine! It is available to purchase online as well as in some local retailers. I know I have seen it in my local Kroger store.
I was lucky enough to try several wines over the past few months from FlipFlop Wines and all have been wonderful. But I have to say - this is my favorite. Let's just say the bottle is almost empty. What are you waiting for? If you are looking for a sweet and delicious light-bodied Moscato, look no further. We are approaching the season to spend time with friends and family. This would be perfect to serve after a family dinner.

FlipFlop Wines gives back in a very big way! They have teamed up with Soles4Souls, a charity that distributes shoes to children in need. "The wines get an extra amount of care knowing that a pair of flip flop sandals will be given to a person in need for each FlipFlop bottle purchased. Great wine that does good!" says Vintner, David Georges. There are more than 300 million children in the world without shoes, and FlipFlop Wines is helping by putting shoes on more than 100,000 feet!

Soles4Souls announced the next phase of their unprecedented partnership with FlipFlop wines – the "Soles4Souls flippin' good deeds Challenge. The "Soles4Souls flippin' good deeds Challenge" offers a way for bloggers to continue to engage their community of readers. Exclusively sponsored by FlipFlop wines, this program challenges bloggers to lead shoe drives and encourage their communities to donate gently worn footwear. Bloggers have a chance to win a trip for two on an international shoe distribution trip with Soles4Souls, where they can deliver the shoes they have collected first-hand to those in need. The "Soles4Souls flippin' good deeds Challenge" launched on September 6 and concludes on November 15, 2011.
