I Have Essential Oils. Now What Can I Do With Them? + Giveaway


Let me begin by stating that I am by no means any kind of essential oil specialist. I am just someone like you who purchased essential oils knowing that I wanted to incorporate them into my lifestyle. But how? You can utilize essential oil supplies to create your own cleaning solutions, essential oil blends, essential oil sprays, and more.

Make a linen spray! Lavender essential oil is known for it’s relaxing and calming properties. So why not create a lavender based linen spray that will help you drift off to a peaceful sleep? First, grab a spray bottle. I used the 4 oz amber fine mist sprayer. You could use any colored bottle for this recipe. It is recommended to use a dark bottle to keep out the UV rays from your spray. Make a room spray! This is easily one of my favorite ways to enjoy essential oils throughout my home. It’s so quick and convenient. You don’t have to find a plug to plug in a diffuser or fill up a reservoir with water. This warm oatmeal cookie room spray is perfect for this time of the year! For this recipe, I used a 2 oz blue fine mist sprayer. This is a great size to carry around the house or to put one in each room. This essential oil recipe brings the aroma of delicious dessert into your home without entering the kitchen.

Create natural health remedies. Again, I am no doctor, but I do know that certain essential oils have been known to help. For example, check out this earache home remedy. I would have never thought of something like this, but it makes sense and it is worth a try. Just be careful and follow the dilution directions carefully. For this recipe, I would use an essential oil rollerball bottle.

Make an essential oil travel kit! Whether you want to take your lavender linen spray or your bug repellent on your travels with you, you will want to use a small essential oil spray bottle. 15 ml is the perfect size for tucking some essential oils in your carry-on, car, or beach bag. If you are traveling somewhere sunny, this after sun soothing spray would be perfect! These holiday room sprays from Tasty Yummies would also be perfect for these small spray bottles!

Now, what do you do with all of these bottles of essential oils? I am storing mine in this pinewood essential oil box. It holds 50 bottles of essential oils. Just label them from the top and you have the perfect way to store your oils.

  1. My favorite use of essential oils is as a facial moisturizer. A friend mixed up a selection of 10 different oils and put them in a dropper bottle. I bought one and it's a luscious mix! I use it every night! duchick at mchsi dot com
