Keep Produce Fresher for Longer with Rubbermaid FreshWorks + Giveaway

This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/Rubbermaid.

There is nothing worse that throwing away produce that has not stayed fresh. It is awful! I hate wasting the money and I hate wasting the delicious food! In fact, as a result of throwing away fresh produce, Americans waste $24 billion worth of produce every year, which is the equivalent of $192 per household.** That's why Rubbermaid introduced the Rubbermaid FreshWorks Container.

FreshWorks is a food storage container that uses patented Rubbermaid FreshVent technology to keep produce fresher up to 80%* longer than traditional produce packaging. It regulates the flow of oxygen and carbon dioxide to create the optimal environment. This way, produce stays nearly as fresh as the day it was picked, while the CrispTray helps reduce moisture and spoilage.

I found Rubbermaid FreshWorks so easy to use! You just simply move produce from store packaging and into the FreshWorks containers before refrigerating to maintain freshness for up to 80% longer. The lid filter lasts a lifetime, no replacements needed. It is recommended that you do not rinse or cut the produce before transferring it into a FreshWorks container.

My blueberries still look so fresh after a few days in a Rubbermaid FreshWorks Produce Saver! A new must-have food hack for my kitchen, FreshWorks extends the life of our produce, so we can eat it before it goes to waste.

I took the long live produce challenge and placed this head of lettuce into the large Rubbermaid FreshWorks Container one week ago. Here it is now. It looks so much better than it would in store packaging. I am definitely looking forward to creating fresh smoothies this spring! Enter to win a set of three Rubbermaid FreshWorks Containers and take the long live produce challenge yourself!
