Fill Your Home with Music Using Google Chromecast Audio

I love listening to music. Whether I am grading papers, blogging or getting ready, the music is on. Until now, I had to rely on listening from one room or listening from my phone. That all changed when I discovered Google Chromecast Audio. This amazing product enables you to play music on your speakers, new or old, wirelessly from your phone, laptop or tablet. Chromecast Audio uses WiFi instead of Bluetooth, so you can stream crystal clear hi res sound. It was so easy to set up.

Just plug a Chromecast Audio unit into your existing speakers via the auxiliary input. The unit even looks sleek and modern with its circular design and yellow cord. I downloaded the Google Home app on my iPhone. It walked me through how to connect to Wi-Fi and set up my Chromecast. Now I was all set to "cast" the music from my phone to this speaker.

I connected this tiny (but powerful) speaker in my beauty room. You have to be jamming to music when you are getting ready, right?!

I also connected a second Google Chromecast Audio unit to my computer speakers in my office. Simple.

This is where it gets really cool. The app lets you create a group with multiple Google Chromecast Audio units (1). This means you can play music everywhere using this multi-room feature. Yes, you can connect your whole house! So when you have your music up on your phone (2) click the cast button. Then you select where you want to cast to (3). Notice it lets me choose beauty room only, office only, or BOTH! By selecting my home group, I connect to both at once. Crystal clear sound, powered by the cloud is delivered to both speakers!

Enjoy music from hundreds of your favorite audio apps. I used Google Play and added some of my favorite songs. But you can also stream millions of songs, radio stations, and podcasts through apps like Pandora, Spotify, YouTube Music, iHeartRadio, and more. Check them all out at chromecast.com/apps.

Google Chromecast Audio makes it so easy to play music on your speakers, new or old, wirelessly from your phone, laptop or tablet. Not only can you listen to your favorite tunes on your speaker, but while using your phone, it’s easy to play, pause, or change the volume from anywhere in the home. And while streaming, you can still text or call without interrupting what's playing or draining your battery. With all of these cool features, I definitely recommend checking out Google Chromecast Audio at Best Buy.
