PCA SKIN Sunscreen Giveaway

As summer closes in quickly and Skin Cancer Awareness Month is upon us, sun protection is again top of mind for most. Though with all of the SPF products on the market – from sunscreen-infused clothing to SPF pills and drinkable sunscreen – it can be tough to determine the most important and effective mechanisms for protecting your skin. The key to sun protection is finding a light, broad-spectrum SPF that absorbs quickly. It is also nice to find one that doesn't feel heavy, greasy, or smell like sunscreen.

Weightless Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 45 is a quick-absorbing, lightweight, broad spectrum sunscreen recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation for daily use that protects the skin from UV rays. This broad spectrum sunscreen provides UVA/UVB protection with ultra-sheer zinc oxide, and the antioxidants milk thistle and caffeine. Its unique, quick-absorbing and light finish makes Weightless Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 45 ideal for those with oily or breakout-prone skin, and those who dislike the feel of traditional sunscreen products. I love the quick-absorbing formula with a light finish. I can't stand sunscreen that is too heavy or too sticky, this one is neither of those. In fact, it is so light that it can be easily worn under makeup!

Do you need SPF protection for someone more active? Active Broad Spectrum SPF 45 is Water Resistant. This Skin Cancer Foundation recommended formulation provides water-resistant, broad spectrum protection with a light finish. This blend of UVA/UVB protecting sunscreen agents provides sun-shield benefits for up to 80 minutes in water, making it the perfect choice for an outdoor lifestyle. What I love about this formula, is that it is perfect for swimming. It is formulated for use while in water or sweating, so sunscreen won’t drip into eyes!

Wearing a sunscreen every day is one the best things you can do to maintain youthful skin. Sunscreen products that have earned The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Seal of Recommendation (like PCA SKIN Sunscreen) are the gold standard in sun protection. Why does that matter? It means the sunscreen has been proven effective in the prevention of skin cancer, not just blocking rays that will cause sunburn.
