Cate McNabb Fall Essentials :: Review

It’s time to embrace a new lip color and fresh face to pair with your sweaters and scarves this fall. Cate McNabb is breezing into fall with its newly released pressed powders and lipsticks to give every girl their new favorite go-to look. I had a chance to try both of these fall essentials.

Cate’s new pressed powders will complete a flawless face with its mattifying qualities and its ability to absorb surface oils, minimizing the appearance of pores. The four new shades, Sand, Umber, Buff and Wheat, are color compatible to Cate’s existing line of cream foundations. I tried Buff (shown above). The application is smooth and not too powdery. It leaves a soft, matte finish that is perfect for fall.

Known for bold color and long-lasting wear, Cate’s new lipsticks are promised to be a wardrobe-staple. Naked Truth and Guava offer a warm rose and soft mauve color, while LBD is revered as a one-of-a-kind Cate product due to its lipstick-gloss hybrid coverage. I tried Guava (shown above) which turned out to be a beautiful autumnal shade. They are definitely long lasting and go on without feeling too drying or cakey.

Cate McNabb is a mineral-based cosmetic line with no parabens, perfumes or pore-clogging additives; just the natural good-stuff to keep your skin beautiful.  Add these staples to your makeup bag and you will be sure to turn heads this fall.

  1. I rarely wear makeup, maybe because I'm not quite sure how much to put on without overdoing it. I would like some advice on that.

  2. This looks like a nice range!! - Jenn e

  3. I really like that lipstick's colour!!!

  4. The red lipstick looks a great colour, I don't really need full foundation so a pressed powder is a nice everyday option.

  5. Would love to try this brand. I typically use liquid foundation and mineral powder. Not loving the brand I have been using though... it's just ok. Wonder about a pressed powder? Really appreciate good coverage. I have reddish hue to my skin and do what I can to mask it.

I love your comments!
