Gorton’s Grilled Tilapia Tacos :: Enter to Win a Gorton's Prize Pack :: #RealFabulous

Gorton's Real Fabulous Review

The new year is here and so are the resolutions. So remember that when it comes to dinner, there is no need to sacrifice great taste for a slimmer waist. Keep your goals on track with Gorton’s Grilled Seafood options! Gorton’s Real Fabulous Seafood products are flame grilled and expertly seasoned. They are delicious on their own or in your favorite recipe. Look for Grilled Tilapia, Salmon, Haddock and Shrimp and add some sizzle to any meal.

I chose to create a recipe using the Grilled Seafood Signature Grilled Tilapia. Made with 5-Star Tilapia, Gorton's Signature Grilled Tilapia Fillets are flame-grilled and expertly seasoned with a classic blend of real herbs and spices. Easily prepared in your oven or microwave, they bring the flavor of outdoor grilling to your table. Plus, they’re 80 calories per fillet and gluten free!

These Grilled Tilapia Tacos were easy and delicious! You've had beef and chicken – but have you tried fish tacos? This fresh variation on a favorite meal is sure to please. Make them spicy, make them mild; crunchy, or soft - it's easy to add toppings so everyone's taste buds are happy.

INGREDIENTS
1 package Gorton’s Grilled Signature Tilapia (2 fillets)
4 taco shells
1 cup lettuce shredded
1/4 cup tomatoes chopped
1/2 cup Mexican blend cheese shredded

DIRECTIONS
  1. Prepare grilled fillets according to package directions. Cool slightly. Cut each fillet into strips.
  2. Place several fillet strips in each taco. Fill taco shells with lettuce, cheese and tomatoes.

The Grilled Tilapia Tacos were a hit! They were light and filling, while still being delicious. I loved the seasoning combined with the taco toppings. So good! Next I want to try this Grilled Fillet Salad - yum!
