Gorton’s Wicked Good Seafood :: Review and Giveaway :: #WickedGoodSeafood

I recently made two of the easiest dinners I have made in a long time. Oh, did I mention that they were also delicious? This was thanks to Gorton’s Wicked Good Seafood! Since 1849, Americans have trusted Gorton’s Seafood for all the seafood they crave, from comfort food to flavorful healthy options!

My family just loves seafood, so we were excited to try some of the great options that Gorton's offers like Fish Sticks, Crunchy Breaded Fish Fillets, Crispy Battered Fish Fillets, Original Batter Tenders, Beer Battered Tenders, Potato Crunch Fish Fillets, Lemon Herb Fish Fillets and Fish Sandwich Fillets! When we got to the store we were so surprised to see a whole entire section of yellow boxes! Gorton's was everywhere!

After much deliberating, we decided to start with the Skillet Crisp 5-Star Tilapia and the Crunchy Butterfly Shrimp. In the tilapia, we chose the classic seasonings with a touch of lemon flavor.

On day 1 we made the Skillet Crisp 5-Star Tilapia. It looked really easy to make. The directions stated to arrange the frozen fillets in a non-stick skillet, leaving space between the fillets. On low to medium heat, I just cooked them for 10 minutes, then turned them over. I cooked them for an additional 10 minutes on the other side. They turned out amazing!

You really can get crispy and delicious tilapia right from your skillet! Gorton’s 5-Star Tilapia is carefully selected for the mildest, flakiest fillets, then lightly coated in classic seasonings with a touch of real lemon for more fish in every bite.

The lightly coated batter was just right. The seasoning tasted perfect with just a hint of lemon flavoring. They were so deliciously crisp! The tilapia was light and fluffy. The fillets were very good in size. The suggested serving size of 1 fillet was plenty! I like that I did not have to worry about MSG, artificial colors or flavors. As a bonus, this meal is a great source of Natural Omega-3!

On day 2 we enjoyed premium, tender tail-on shrimp in classic buttery breadcrumbs. Gorton's Crunchy Butterfly Shrimp make a great appetizer, snack or meal. The crispy crunch of their Crunchy Butterfly Shrimp is delicious with your favorite dip or on their own.

This meal was just as easy. I heated my oven to 425. Then I arranged the shrimp in a shallow metal baking pan, leaving space between shrimp. I baked uncovered for 20 minutes and turned them over after 10 minutes. The result was crispy and delicious golden shrimp.

The Crunchy Butterfly Shrimp were so good, we did not even use a dipping sauce. They were so big too! We were very pleased with both meals.
