Perhaps you have heard of Click n Curl. It has been on TV and magazines and pretty much all over the place lately. Why? It is the new way to Dry, Style and Set - All in One Step! What's even cooler is that a busy mom with a hairbrush malfunction invented this awesome product! Kim Nimsgern conceived the idea for Click n Curl more than ten years ago. Using a cheaply made round brush, the heat from her blow dryer melted the glue which attached the brush head to brush handle, essentially leaving a hot roller fixed in her hair. First frustrated by the inconvenient malfunction, Kim soon realized that allowing the brush barrel to cool in her hair before removing it gave her hair extra volume and body. Realizing it would be great to have a whole set, Click n Curl was born.

So what is it? Click n Curl is a set of super light, self-gripping, ceramic coated, heat holding barrel brush heads with an easy release, detachable brush handle. Click n Curl is the fast and easy way to achieve today's most desired hair styling results - body, volume and loose flowing curls. Check out the video below for a demonstration.

I first saw Click n Curl on the Today show. They were showing it as a hot new hair product. I knew I had to try it! I have seen my stylist use this same technique on my own hair, but she left several whole brushes in my hair. With Click n Curl, you just leave the brush head in and move onto the next one! It is just so smart!

Check out my before and after photos above to see what Click n Curl can do for you! Here it is shown giving major body and volume to medium length hair. I also used Click n Curl on my own long hair and the results were loose waves. I love how the brush barrels are light and do not weight down hair. The ceramic coating minimizes frizz, is easier on the hair shaft, heats fast and evenly and cools just as fast. The barrel is vented for quicker drying time. It is also effortless to attach the handle while still holding your hair dryer in the other hand. You literally just click and curl!

The five winners will get to choose from the small set (shown above) or the medium set (shown below). The small set has a brush size of 1.5 inches in diameter and is best for short hair. The medium set has a brush size of 2 inches in diameter and is best for medium or shoulder length hair. Both sets will include 6 brush barrels and one universal handle.

The magic is in that detachable handle that turns brush heads into rollers allowing each section of hair to cool and set. Heat is what alters the molecule bonds in your hair and permits a temporarily change in shape (straight to curled), but it’s the cooling of the hair that allows the new shape (the curl) to be retained. The process of going from hot to cool is what “sets” and creates a curl. After drying a section of hair with your blow dryer, simply detach the Click n Curl brush barrel and allow your hair to cool.

  12. Add a little "shake" just before releasing the roller. In order for the roller to stay in place securely, it must rest against the scalp so make sure you feel the bristles on your scalp before releasing the roller. Also, and here's the important part, to set the roller securely, just before releasing the barrel from the handle, give it a little shake back and forth (horizontally) against your scalp. This will set the roller in place.

  13. The brush handle will soon be interchangeable with all the sizes.
