We had some delicious Fresh Scottish Salmon from Anderson Seafoods to try. My husband decided he wanted to grill it and found this easy and delicious marinade to try. He found the original Soy Sauce and Brown Sugar Marinade recipe on Made from Pinterest.
Ingredients
- 1½ pounds salmon fillets
- lemon pepper to taste
- garlic powder to taste
- salt to taste
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup water
- ¼ cup vegetable oil

Season salmon fillets with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and vegetable oil until sugar is dissolved. Place fish in a large resealable plastic bag, pour soy sauce mixture over fish, seal, and turn to coat.Marinate for at least 2 hours.

Preheat grill for medium heat. Look at this beautiful Fresh Scottish Salmon.

Place salmon on foil on the preheated grill, and discard marinade. Cook salmon for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

This marinade gave the salmon delicious flavor. It was tender, flaky and full of flavor. We got our Fresh Scottish Salmon from Anderson Seafoods. They make it so easy to order online and it can be delivered right to your door the very next day! Every single piece of seafood that we receive from Anderson Seafood is out of this world. We paired this recipe with a new Chinese Buffet Green Beans recipe I tried. It was a very nice complimentary side dish. Let me know if you try this marinade!

For some reason, as much as I love fish, salmon is not for me. I've tried it at a couple restaurants but a lot of my family love it. Looks like a great recipe
