Not Your Mother's Hair Care :: Review and Giveaway

Not Your Mother’s Hair Care offers essential hair styling products with only the best ingredients and technologies for a truly cool and unique style. I had the opportunity to try three products. Clean Freak (Refreshing Dry Shampoo), Kinky Moves (Curl Defining Hair Cream) and my favorite Beach Babe (Texturing Sea Salt Spray). I have been using these products for about a month and let me tell you - I am in love with these creative, hip and ultra-cool hair care products!
This product absorbs excess oils and cleans your hair without water. I don't wash my hair every single day. Therefore, I love using this product on those days when I don't wash. I love this product for two reasons. One is that it really works! It leaves my hair feeling soft and clean. The second thing I love is that it does not weigh my hair down. I can style it as usual and it will not add any extra bulk to my style. It also smells awesome! To use just spray on roots and throughout hair. Then brush it through to diffuse the powder. Style as desired.

Kinky Moves helps encourage natural curls by giving them that extra oomph they need to look fabulous. I liked using this product on those days when I wanted to go extra curly. My hair is naturally wavy, not curly. But those curly haired girls make me so jealous! I love how this product eliminates frizz and flyaways. I can easily style and define my curls (waves) with this product. Plus it smells like grape candy. No kidding it does! To use you apply to wet hair. I distribute it evenly with a wide tooth comb. Then I scrunch and scrunch to try and develop those curls that are hiding in my waves. Finally I blow dry upside down with a diffuser. This is a wonderful product to get that sexy date night hair!

I saved the best for last kids! Everyday can truly be a beach day with Beach Babe! I have tried other sea salt sprays and have been so disappointed with the rats nest that I get with the other products. Not with Beach Babe! I love love love love this product! This product adds sexy, texturized waves and delivers a lite matte finish. Like the other products this one smells awesome! It smells like coconut suntan lotion. Seriously. To use I spritz it on my damp hair. Then I use my fingers to distribute it evenly all the way to my ends. Finally I use my fingers to twist my locks, creating more defined waves. Finally I dry it with a diffuser. The result is these amazing lightly texturized wavy locks. See for yourself (below).

I am so very impressed with Not Your Mother's. I can't wait to try the other products in this cool and hip hair care line. You can try some too! One lucky reader will win any three hair care products of their choice from Not Your Mother's!
