Working out and getting fit can be hard if you have back pain. Also from the Chicken Soup for the Soul series is Say Goodbye to Back Pain. Whether you have the occasional flare-up or a major injury, this book will help you reduce pain and keep your back and neck healthy. My husband has had several back surgeries and has recently started having trouble again. This book has some great information that he found very useful. From preventative exercise to getting the right diagnosis, this book is full of information from Dr. Silver.

If you have any experience with back pain, it is awful! Learn how to use your mind to reduce pain, or learn how to pick the correct treatment for you! My husband is not the only one who found this book useful. Here is a review from Amazon!

  3. My favorite fitness tip is walk-don't take the car- don't take the elevator- WALK, WALK, WALK.


  4. Properly bending by bending at the knees will help to relieve pressure on the back and hopefully prevent back pain.

  6. I currently am relieving back pain by going through a physical therapy program through my local hospital.

  7. I've had great success with using a chiropractor for back pain!


  8. The only thing that works for me to relieve back pain is to sit up straight or lie flat down.I have 5 herniated discs and sciatica.Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

  9. My favorite fitness tip is drink plenty of water. It's the easiest thing about fitness to me, haha. xP

  10. I take a walk most evenings after dinner. We go out at about a 3 mph clip. I also try to drink water. I usually have a water bottle with me to stay hydrated. I also do not park near the closest spot. I will pick far away.

  11. i warm up a wet towel wrapped in a bag in the microwave and then lay on it...awesome!!!

  12. I'm a firm believer in icy hot/bengay/cheap store brand! Whatever you want to call it but if its meant to relieve pain I've probably tried it!
