All-Star Seafood Giveaway‏ :: Enter to Win a $200 Gift Card from Anderson Seafoods!

It is All-Star Seafood Giveaway time with Anderson Seafoods! In another awesome giveaway, someone is going to win a $200 virtual gift card to spend on fresh, fast and delicious seafood from Anderson Seafoods! In case you missed it, check out my post from March Foodie Madness introducing you to Anderson Seafoods.
Anderson Seafoods was established in 1979, with the goal of providing premium seafood products and superior service in the retail and food service arena. Anderson Seafoods has evolved into a full-scale, state-of-the-art operation and is recognized as a leading authority in the seafood industry.

This was our second time enjoying the amazing quality and convenience that Anderson Seafoods has to offer. My husband and I eat out frequently and one of our favorite meals to order is seafood, so we know what's out there. I am still shocked that I can effortlessly enjoy seafood of this magnitude from the convenience of my own home. Look at everything we enjoyed!

I used a simple pan seared scallops recipe and added some bow tie pasta.

Just thaw and serve! These crab legs are pre-cut making them so easy to enjoy! We just steamed them to warm them up a bit and they were ready and delicious.

We just cut and broiled to make these irresistible rock lobster tails!

Wow. That is about all I can say. These were so tender and full of flavor. They are by far, the best crab that we have ever tasted. Period.

If you are looking at all of the frozen seafood options that Anderson Seafood has to offer, and are not sure where to start, I promise you will not go wrong with the Red King Crab Claws. They have huge chunks of tender white crab that practically just falls out of the shell. So fantastic. Oh wait did I already rave about them? Just wanted to be sure you were paying attention.

What makes Anderson Seafoods unique? That is as simple as 1-2-3 ... and 4.
  1. Anderson Seafoods products are 3 - 8 days fresher than what is available at the typical grocery store.
  2. Anderson Seafoods ranks among the 2% of food companies that are USDC inspected.
  3. Our delicious recipes and entrées created by Chef Kelly Mullarney are featured on the Anderson Seafoods website; you can now create amazing meals at home that rival the finest restaurants.
  4. Consumers no longer have to make a trip to a specialty store for premium seafood, now that Anderson Seafoods delivers the ultimate seafood experience overnight to your door.

Have I tempted you enough with these incredible photos? It is really pretty simple. Anderson Seafoods offers premium, hand-selected seafood delivered overnight to your home. Does it get any better than that? No. But don't just take my word for it. Check out these testimonials of other satisfied customers.

    #2 Bacon-Wrapped Scallops with Chili Butter: http://tastykitchen.com/recipes/appetizers-and-snacks/bacon-wrapped-scallops-with-chili-butter/

#3 Carrabba's Italian Grill Spiedino di Mare

    4 scallops, size U-10 to U-20
    4 shrimp, size U-16 to U-20
    Pinch of Kosher salt
    Pinch of white pepper
    Splash of olive oil
    Seasoned Italian bread crumbs
    2 ounces lemon butter
    Pinch of parsley, chopped

Lightly season scallops and shrimp with salt and pepper. Lightly coat with olive oil, then dip in seasoned bread crumbs. Skewer and grill on both sides. Melt lemon butter and drizzle over seafood. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top.

    Carrabba's Lemon Butter Sauce

2 tablespoons clarified butter (you'll need about
    1/2 stick butter; directions follow)
2 tablespoons finely chopped yellow onion
    2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
    4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    2 tablespoons dry white wine
    Kosher salt
    White pepper
    2 tablespoons cold butter

To clarify butter: Melt 1/2 stick butter over low heat. When melted, remove from heat, and set aside for several minutes to allow the milk solids to settle to the bottom. Skim the clear (clarified) butter from the top, and discard sediment. (This can be done ahead.)

To make sauce: Heat clarified butter, add onion and garlic, and sauté until transparent. Add lemon juice and white wine, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Simmer 2 to 3 minutes to reduce liquid. Remove from heat and swirl in cold butter until sauce is smooth and emulsified.

    1/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel
    1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
    Directions

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine the cornstarch, water and broth until smooth; set aside. In a large skillet, saute garlic and cayenne in oil until tender. Stir broth mixture and add to the pan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Reduce heat; add shrimp, lemon juice, peel and parsley. Cook for 2-4 minutes or until heated through. Drain spaghetti and place in a large bowl. Add shrimp mixture and toss to coat.
