Bona Hardwood Floor Mop :: Review & Giveaway

Bona has been the world leader in hardwood floor finishing and floor care for over 90 years. Their motto is, "Bringing out the Best in Hardwood Floors". This sounds great to me since I always feel like I am not sure what to use to clean my hardwood floors. The products I have tried in the past have either not worked or have been a pain to use. I am not a fan of getting on my hands and knees and scrubbing to clean a floor. No thank you. So I turned to the experts, Bona, for some help!

I received the Bona Hardwood Floor Mop to review. It is a premium spray mop combo which includes Microfiber Mop and Bona Hardwood Refill Cartridge all in one. I loved how everything I needed came in one compact unit. You don't even need a bucket! You can put your mop together with just a few clicks, no tools needed. Finally, you just attach the Microfiber pad to the bottom and you are literally ready to mop!

You just pull the pump on the handle and the cleaning solution squirts out right where you need to it go! You can see it in the photo above. I did about two squirts then mopped, two squirts then mopped, and I was very happy with the results! Just do a small area at a time.

It obviously worked because look at all the yucky dirt it picked up! Ew! Please note: this was what it looked like after cleaning two rooms! Once it dried, the floors just felt clean and smooth. There was no leftover residue like I have found with other hardwood floor cleaners! Thank you Bona for making cleaning my hardwood floors so easy! I was done mopping in just a few minutes! Incredible!

Oh and did I forget to mention that the Bona Hardwood Floor Mop is safe to use in your home?! It is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and biodegradable! Quick, easy to use, safe and leaves no dulling residue. What more could you want?! Someone is going to get the chance to try the Bona Hardwood Floor Mop for themselves!

  2. What frustrates me most is that you have to be careful cleaning wood than you do tile. Too much water. Too harsh. Etc. Etc. My tile I can really beat up with the mop and cleaning solutions lol. Not my wood floors. They need to be babied.

  8. What frustrates me most about cleaning my hardwood floors is the streaks and splotches left afterwards. I am always recleaning and trying to do away with the streaks but no matter how hard I try there always seems to be one or two streaks that emerge.

  18. It drives me nuts that they don't look freshly moped, even after they have only sat for 1 day, even the parts where no one has walked on them. This would hopefully make my hardwoods shine longer! We do have old original hardwoods, so that's part of the reason, which is understandable. But I like my house to not only BE clean, I like it to LOOK clean! ;)

  37. Well, I had a rug and pad on my floor and the pad left a gluey residue. I have tried scrubbing and vinegar. That helped some but then, yes, I did, I put oil on my floor and now it leaves marks when I walk on it! I am at my wit's end and need something to rectify this.
