Father's Day Gift Guide :: Journal 10

Welcome to the Father's Day Gift Guide! We have some great ideas to help you find the perfect gift for dad! Don't miss our huge giveaway featuring all of the sponsors in the Father's Day Gift Guide! It starts June 1 and we will be giving away over $1210 in prizes. Our next featured sponsor is Journal 10.

What is Journal 10? You can think of it like your own personal time machine. Journal 10 is a 10 year journal, dated each day for the next ten years. It is very popular with parents, grandparents and anyone interested in recording the details of their lives. I don't know about you but the men I know are not that great at recording their memories and records. That is why this is the perfect gift for them! Journal 10 makes it so simple.

Here is why any man can use the Journal 10. There are only four lines per day! It can be something as simple as, "Went to my son's baseball game today. He hit a home run." There you go. That is all you need to write for that day! Now imagine keeping a daily log of what you did for 10 years! How fun would it be to go back and read your Journal 10 in 20, 30, even 50 years to see what you were doing!?

It is so important to keep records of your life for future generations. I would love to have read one that my father wrote in his 20s for example, or even in his 30s! The Journal 10 comes in a green “leatherette” which makes it flexible and easy to write in. It is also quite durable.
From a child's first words to his or her first soccer goal. From a best friend's engagement news to a grandchild's graduation. Special memories deserve to be saved, remembered and celebrated. With Journal 10, you can record daily events and remembrances for up to 11 years, keep track of birthday & anniversaries, set goals and so much more.
The Journal 10 is the perfect gift for your father, grandfather or anyone important in your life. It makes a very special gift! Anyone can write just a few sentences a day. Let Journal 10 help preserve precious memories before it's too late. Why? Because Time Flies! Record them now and build a memoir to treasure. I want to keep my Journal 10 for myself! I love how it is laid out. It could not be more user friendly! Remember the Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky? Here is what she has to say about the Journal 10.

I love the Journal 10 because:
  • I takes just 5 minutes a day.
  • There is no pressure to fill an entire blank page.
  • It builds over time into a family memoir.
  • As you make each entry you see what was happening on that day in previous years.
  • Re-reading triggers memories of people, place and events otherwise forgotten.
  • It captures personal and family development and milestones.

  15. I have just attended a seminar about writing your life. One of the best suggestions was to buy a multi-year journal such as this! So happy to see this!

  20. I love the set up of this Journal. They thought of everything. I like that when you open the Journal to post an entry for that day you will automatically see prior years entries. In a glance you can see what you wrote and what was going on in your life on that day years before. How cool is that. With this Journal it would be the only book I would need for 10+ years. It holds phone numbers , birth dates, address and special dates plus a log of your day all in one nice place. I would love to own this Journal. Plus what a great gift idea too :) Thanks for sharing this review~!

  25. This is perfect now that we have two young boys. I love how you can just jot down a couple of thoughts and not feel pressured to fill the whole page.

  26. I kept a journal when my children were at home, It would be great for a young family starting out to keep track of everyday moments as well as important moments.

  27. I liked Ali's idea of looking back and perhaps calling someone she did something with x number of years ago on this date. Great way to keep in touch with shared memories!

  28. As a mom, I would love this for documenting those moments of your kids' childhood that you don't ever want to forget (but usually do anyway!).

  29. This would be great for someone who is writing down daily gratitude expressions! It would also be great for someone trying to reach a goal -- as a way of keeping track of when goal steps were taken...or not.

  32. What a neat idea to compare dates from different years!

  33. Journal 10 is a wonderful idea for teens and adults. My eldest son struggles with writing in his journal, feeling obligated to write pages when he doesn't necessarily have the experiences to fulfill them. With Journal 10, I believe he would be less discouraged to write and more intrigued to catalog his daily experiences. This is a wonderful idea for family memories!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think it would be cute to start this even as a parent *for* a child at birth, as a replacement for or addition to a baby book!

    ReplyDelete
  35. As someone who prides herself with a great memory, I have concluded that this is not really the case, especially when it comes to those moments I 'will always remember' and I don't. This item will be mine!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I have really thought this would be a great way to chronicle 10 years worth of thoughts, and write a book based on those thoughts, you should see what floats around in my head. It would make for an interesting read!

    ReplyDelete
  37. This is so great. Reminds me of my grandmother, she used to make ever calendar as a journal. Little notes here and there. This Journal would of been perfect for her.
