Rubbermaid 2-in-1 Recycler :: Review and Giveaway

We always recycle! It is so important and I think everyone should! But finding space for all of our recyclables has always been a problem. The Rubbermaid 2-in-1 Recycler is here to help! It makes recycling easy

This two-unit bin allows you to either contain trash and recyclables all in one location or sort recyclables. We use ours to sort recyclables. We have so many bottles and cans and our old recycling bin would get filled up in a flash! Now we use the lower bin of the Rubbermaid 2-in-1 Recycler for all of our bottles and cans. It works out perfectly!

The top unit is perfect for collecting our paper recyclables and has a fold away handle that makes it easy to take out and empty into your recycling bin. We use the smaller bin on top for paper, magazines and boxes. These things aren't wet or messy, so they don't require a bag.

The lower bin tilts out for easy access, and holds an 8 gallon trash bag in place with the Liner Lock™ system. I just put in a small bag which fits in this compartment perfectly. That way it keeps leftover liquid from getting all over the container. The Liner Lock™ system hides the bag while holding it in place!

Here are some more things to love about the Rubbermaid 2-in-1 Recycler:
  • Sort your recyclables in one location
  • Sleek black design blends into kitchen d├ęcor
  • Features LinerLock™ bag management in lower bin
  • Lower bin has a "pedal" making it easy to open
  • Removable lid
  • Fold-away handles
  • Total capacity = 13.2 gal
  • The 2-in-1 Recycler fits more recyclables while using 25% less floor space compared to typical divided containers
  • Made with recyclable materials and is recyclable

The Rubbermaid 2-in-1 Recycler has really solved our recycling issues. We spend about half the time taking our recyclables outside as we did before. The bottom bin holds plenty of cans and bottles. The top bin holds our newspapers, magazines, junk mail and boxes. It works out just perfect! I would definitely recommend this recycling bin over any I have used in the past.

  55. My husband goes through a lot of pop cans and they pile up so quickly. He's very logic and gadget-oriented so I think the ingenuity of the 2-in-1 would really appeal to his logical, sorting-inspired type of mind and maybe recycling would go more smoothly and even be more fun. :)

  65. Since I live in a mobile home and have no garage, I have to find a place to store my recyclables until I have enough to take them out. Drives me nuts! With this system I can hide them until the bag is full.

    ReplyDelete
  66. What frustrates me is the amount of space that recycling takes up, we live in a rural area so recycling is a must, bare minimum of garbage bags aloud on garbage day, so we end up with all kinds of half full blue bags and bottle bags all over the place because we don't want them out in the open when company comes over, this would hide the horrible mess recycling has to offer..
