Aluminyze is the brilliant new way to see and display your photography. They super charge your images by developing them directly onto a specialized metallic surface. The result is spectacular. I have personal experience with many mediums with my own photography. I have never seen anything like Aluminyze. The aluminum takes the place of the paper on a traditional photo.

So what does it mean to aluminyze a photo?
An aluminyzed photo is a hard sheet of aluminum with a photograph embedded in it. We use a special technology that infuses the image into the aluminum, for exceptional image vibrancy, incomparable durability and maximum versatility.

I love my aluminyzed photo! Just look at how those colors pop! Wow! I love how there is no frame needed. It has a very low profile when you get the wall float mount like I did and it will mount just 1/2 inch from the wall. It literally looks like it is floating on the wall. Aluminyzed photos require no framing for a sophisticated look on walls, tables and hallways or anywhere you want to make an impression.

There are more benefits to getting your photos aluminyzed.
  1. It is more durable than paper. It can take a tremendous amount of beating and it will be just fine. It can even be placed in the dishwasher! Aluminyzed photos last twice as long as paper photos.
  2. It will not fade in lighting. An aluminyzed photo is infused in the body of the aluminum plate and cannot be removed without excessive heat. They are also water and weatherproof
  3. Aluminyzed photos are embedded it in the fabric of the aluminum. This results in a three-dimensional touch to the image.

An easel is included by default with all 8x10 and 11x14 orders, for no additional charge. Upgrade options include Wall Floats and Acrylic Pedestals as shown above. You also have the option between white surface or silver surface and gloss finish or matte finish.

White Surface - A white surface is defined by a white coating applied to the aluminum before processing. This yields a standard photo with maximum dynamic range (i.e. color spectrum) and vivid colors.

Silver Surface - A sheer surface is silver (the organic color of aluminum) and gives your photos a metallic sheen and increases the contrast. The finish can be either matte or glossy.

Gloss Finish - Glossy photos are preferred since the shiny surface enriches the colors. Photographs on glossy will have a warmer hue and look more vibrant. The downside is that if light is reflected on a glossy surface, glare will result.

Matte Finish - Matte surfaces do not bounce back light, eliminating the glare problem. If your photo is destined to be displayed directly in the line of strong lighting, then you should consider ordering a matte finish.

The aluminyzed photo that I created was with a white surface and a matte finish. I was happy with the results! I think Aluminyze is so innovative! What a cool way to display your important and beautiful photos!
